The political architecture in Taraba State has changed drastically from this Friday as the Supreme Court has ruled that the impeached ex-Deputy Governor, Sani Danladi, was wrongly impeached. It was his removal that led to Governor Dambaba Suntai appointing Garba Umar as deputy governor.
You may wish to know that Garba Umar has been having issues with Governor Suntai since his accident and the moves by his wife and others to rule the state by proxy. But with this judgement, Umar no longer have any stake, whatsoever, in the government of Taraba State. Politics in action!
Sani Danladi is now being sworn in as Acting Governor pending the return of Governor Suntai.
