PDP politician removes transformer donated to community after loosing election

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate Oyo state, Senator Teslim Folarin, reportedly removed a transformer he donated to Sabo community hours after loosing at polls.

According to Daily Trust, the transformer which was removed in the early hours of Sunday was donated just few days before the gubernatorial election.

The residents of Sabo community on sighting the aides of the former Senator who were removing the Transformer, raised alarm but it was eventually removed to an unknown place.

After reporting to the Sarkin Hausawa (of the community), Alhaji Ahmed Dahiru Zungeru where they expressed their worry, a development which compelled the Sarki to wade into the matter by calling on Folarin’s political associate within the community, Alhaji Bashiru Maiborno, for clarification.

After probing, it was said by Maiborno that the Transformer was removed with a view to keeping it in a safer place. He said, “Senator Folarin is a man of his words,”
