Emmanuel Emenike rejects Super Eagles return

There are reports that new coach Samson Siasia is set to recall Vincent Enyeama and striker, Emmanuel Emenike ahead of next month’s African Nations Cup (AFCON) qualifiers against Egypt.

Emenike who won the golden boot at the 2013 AFCON tournament which Nigeria won under Stephen Keshi, insisted that he would not return to the national team, adding that Sunday Oliseh did not force him to quit the team.

Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, Resigns

I think Sunday Oliseh is an insecure man who lacks 'emotional maturity' to manage people. The controversial coach of Nigeria's Super Eagles has resigned, about seven months after he was appointed.

Oliseh, who announced his resignation on Twitter, said he took the decision due to the inability of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to honour the terms of his contract.

Three suspected members of One Million boys, a dreaded gang in the Badagry area of Lagos – Sodiq Yinusa, Azeez Ajadi and Idris Abdulganiyu – have been arrested by the State Police Command.

The suspects were arrested by the Area K Command, Morogbo, while they were allegedly attempting to rob a church in the J4 area of Seme, Badagry, during a vigil penultimate Friday.

The General Overseer of the Victorious Sacred Solemn Healing and Deliverance Ministry in Lagos, Prophet Oluwaseyi Idowu has been arrested for allegedly impregnating two sisters.

The prophet also allegedly attempted to sell their father’s two-storey building without his consent.

Wahala dey oh! A 40-year-old man, Lukman Jimoh, aka Oyeolorun, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing his bosom friend, Remi Oloyede, also known as Ora.

Oyeolorun reportedly cut off Remi’s ears and stabbed him in the neck and eyes during a fight on Monday at the notorious Adedoja Street in Mushin, Lagos.
