Wani’s wife, Ibrahim gave birth yesterday in the hospital wing of the Omdurman Federal Women’s Prison in North Khartoum, Sudan, five days earlier than her expected delivery date.

One of the top Boko Haram leader, Hassan Ali, who was arrested by the local vigilante in Maiduguri three weeks ago, has confessed that he got “married” to two of the abducted Chibok girls in Sambisa forest.
According to reports, Hassan Ali, a native of Kwapchi-Kilakise village allegedly killed his father, Mallam Hassan Arigizhe, and his uncle, Zakariya Ali. He was also said to have sanctioned the killing of his younger sister whom he forcefully took to Sambisa when she refused to accede to the séxual demands of one of the Amirs (leaders) in Sambisa, an act that elevated him to the position of Amir too.
In his confession: “When we asked him about the abducted girls, he said they were all fine, that none of them was being hurt or molested; he said as a matter of fact he was betrothed to two of them as wives due to his position as Amir. He said they eat good food there – mostly canned foods and canned drinks; they eat spaghetti, rice, smoked fish and yam."

The All Progressives Congress (APC) said the comment credited to information minister Labaran Maku that the federal government was spending significantly on security in three of its controlled states was a categorical declaration of the office of the president vacant by the minister.

Female Kidnapper stripped Na*ked,beaten and paraded in Ogun State

A suspected female kidnapper was stripped naked and beaten in in Odi-Olowo street in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

According to reports, she was caught entering a house to kidnap a child who was home alone.

Someone raised an alarm and she was rounded up,beaten and paraded for more than two hours .They say they found money on her which she confessed was from the sale of a previously kidnapped child.She was eventually rescued by the police..

School teacher Olayinka Oluwadare Folarin arrested yesterday over the alleged rape of 3 children said one of the girls "made advances" at him.
The 38-year-old father of four was quoted saying by Vanguard:
"One of them made advances at me. You know how children play with you in a funny way. This thing is beyond me."
Attributing his actions to the demonic attacks he said he had felt bad ever time he committed the crime but could do nothing to stop himself.

Earlier this month, the was a report that a 27-year-old Sudanese woman, Mariam Yahya Ibrahim, who is over eight months pregnant was sentenced to death for marrying a christian.
Recently, her husband, Daniel Wani, expressed concern about the health of his imprisoned wife, imploring authorities to let him take her to the hospital for proper care, as she was due to give birth soon.
Ibrahim who has been shackled since the commencement of her imprisonment in February, gave birth to a baby girl earlier today, a month before her due date The Guardian reports. Her condition as well as that of her baby is currently unknown, as her husband has been prevented from seeing her.
She is believed to have given birth at the prison’s basic clinic.
Sudanese authorities reportedly stated that they will defer Ibrahim’s death sentence for two years to allow her to nurse

#BringBackOurGirls: Obasanjo Holds Secret Talks With Boko Haram Relatives To Free Abducted Chibok Girls

Former president Olusegun Obasanjo is said to be working behind the scenes to secure the release of the abducted Chibok girls who are in the Boko Haram's captivity.
According to report, Obasanjo had met with people close to Boko Haram at his farm in Otta, Ogun State, last weekend in an attempt to find a solution to bring back the girls to their homes safely.
The meeting which was attended by relatives of some senior Boko Haram fighters as well as intermediaries focused on how to free the girls through negotiation.

The students of Adamawa state University are in fear after they have received several letters over the past two weeks, from who they believe are boko haram.Initially they felt it was a prank until the latest letter which was attached with a pound of flesh and dripping blood.
A source has told SaharaReporters that the letters are believed to be real, coming directly from Boko Haram.
The students are now living in fear.Most of those who use the only hostel available to men have not slept there over the past weekend. The hostel, also known as ‘Barde Hall,was nearly empty of students beginning on Saturday evening. Barde Hall, is also popularly known as "256" by many in the student body. It is a popular ‘hang out’ spot for many of the students attending. It is also seen as a safe space, and resting place, that normally has scores of students milling around outside during the academic year. Many of the students did not sleep, or ‘hang out’ at the hostel on Saturday night. It was ghostly quiet.

MAIDUGURI— Residents of Attagara and Kawuri villages in Gwoza and Bama local government areas of Borno State, respectively, repelled attacks on their community by suspected Boko Haram insurgents.

A resident said the attackers invaded the village yesterday on motorcycles but met some women, adding “they wanted to hit the women with sticks but when they raised the sticks, their hands refused to descend.

“Three of the insurgents fled, but seven were not lucky as the women alerted the people,” and the vigilante group in the community rushed to the scene, disarmed the seven insurgents, who were later lynched.

It appears Boko Haram will have its way this time as the group have the Yam and the Knife in its possession. The dreaded sect has finally dropped its demand for some of its top commanders to be released in exchange for some of the abducted schoolgirls seized over a month ago from Chibok in Borno State.

Jasmiyah and Tasimyah Whitehead are serving 30-year prison sentences after confessing to the brutal murder of their mother.

But Suika was gone.

A woman, Hajiya Maimuna Danja, died on Wednesday on her way to Katsina to pray for the release of the abducted Chibok girls.
The woman, who hailed from Danja in Danja Local Government Area of Katsina State, died in a car crash on Danja-Katsina road.
She was said to be travelling from her village to attend a special prayer session for the release of the girls, organised by the wife of the Katsina State Governor, Hajiya Fatima Shema.

The villagers who were prepared for the Boko Haram attack had dug out trenches for the purpose. The Rann village, located in the middle of a Boko Haram strong-hold, had been attacked by Boko Haram in the recent past. In that attack they had allegedly acquired two light-weight armored tanks and some AK47 rifles. They refused to turn in this ammunition to the government in an increasingly common response as more villages in the north are determined to take up arms to defend themselves in the current state of deadly insecurity. 37year old prophetess Bose Oluwole (pictured above) of the Celestial Church of Christ in Epe, Lagos has been arrested by the police for allegedly setting her 9 year old daughter, Damilola, on fire. The woman said her child was possessed with witchcraft and was trying to deliver her according to God's instruction to her. She allegedly poured kerosene on the little girl's body and set it ablaze.
Damilola is currently at the Epe General Hospital where she is being treated for first degree burns in the emergency ward.

The general officer commanding (GOC), 7 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General Ahmadu Mohammed, was said to have escaped death by whisker on Wednesday when a group of disgruntled soldiers turned their gun at his vehicle and pulled the trigger.

Chairman, Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON), Chief Tony Okoroji has said that the end appears to be near with respect to the crisis that engulfed the music and broadcasting industries in Nigeria over the payment of copyright royalties in the last quarter of 2013.
While addressing some musicians at COSON Headquarters in Lagos today, Chief Okoroji said that a lot of progress has been made in the negotiations to break the deadlock between COSON and the broadcasting industry and that the negotiations which have gone on for several months may be nearing conclusion.

The State Security Service at a press conference this afternoon May 12th at the DSS headquarters in Abuja, paraded five people they say carried out the first Nyanya bombing on April 14th that killed over 70 people.

The Federal Government has said it would not negotiate with Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau following the demands he made this morning in a video he released showing the kidnapped girls.
In an interview with AFP, Interior Minister, Abba Moro, said the issue in question is not about Boko Haram giving conditions.
