NTV Uganda has dismissed reports that it fired two of its employees after they were caught having sex in the office.

Aggie Asiimwe Konde, the station’s boss, said the images of two individuals having sex doing rounds on social media were not taken at the station.
“We strongly denounce any such linkage to our employees and dissociate ourselves from the circulated images… The individuals in the said images have never been employed or contracted by ourselves,” reads the statement issued by NTV Uganda on Tuesday, August 16.

NTV Uganda admitted firing two employees, both female, due to gross misconduct but they were not the ones in the video. The two were sacked for falsifying documents.
It had been claimed that NTV Uganda fired Anne Nakawombe (a presenter) and Kevin Kaija (a producer) after they were caught on camera having sex in the office.

The station pointed out that the images and video were of an old Makerere University lecturer and a student released in May.

Ben Musaga, a lecturer from the department of Planning and Applied Statistics, School of Statistics and Applied Economics at the College of Business and Management Sciences, was accused of sexually harassing his students.
