Olatunde Solomon Filani, father of Nollywood actress, Mosun Filani, is dead. The patriarch of the Filani family in Ekiti State died yesterday, February 19, 2015 after a brief illness at the age of 69. The deceased, who is an indigene of Ikole Ekiti, recently retired as a lecturer from Ekiti State College of Education in Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State. He is survived by several children and grandchildren, among which is beautiful Nollywood actress, Mosunmola Oduoye (Née Filani), who is now married to Kayode Oduoye (popularly called SUPERKAY) who is vying for the Odo-Otin/Ifelodun/Boripe Federal Constituency in Osun State on the platform of the PDP.
According to sources, following the sudden death of the family head, the family members will duly come together in the next few days and offer details of the burial arrangements in due course.
