Nollywood Actress, Omoni Oboli has cleared the air on her ‘beef’ with her colleague, Genevieve Nnaji.
The mother of three opened up to iCampus Newspaper saying:
“I can’t place my fingers on when the supposed “beef “started but one thing I know is that, there is no problem between Genevieve and I . We did not have any issue or problem whatsoever.
We are not enemies, neither are we friends. We are colleagues, a senior one at that, we greet each other when we see; it is not like we visit each other at home.”

The movie director/producer speaking  further on the genesis of the alleged ‘beef’ said:
“I acted a movie, Anchor Baby, the director (Lonzo Nzekwe) of the movie granted an interview and said Omoni Oboli is the best actress in Nigeria.
Some bloggers lashed on it and said Omoni Oboli is better than Genevieve and Omotola. The next thing was that people started writing about a supposed ‘beef ‘with her. I cannot get the reason they didn’t write about beef with Omotola.
In my opinion, someone somewhere was just being mischievous. I have absolutely no problem with her, and I believe she has no problem with me.”
There has been reports of Nollywood actressess having ‘beefs’ amongst themselves. However, the most talked about was the beef between two top actresses, Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.
There are claims that the two have resolved their issues with photos of them hanging out together and Genevieve giving Omotola a shout-out on her birthday.
Meanwhile Omoni Oboli recently trended on social media and criticized by some of her fans for wearing a cleavage revealing outfit to the Presidential villa where she was invited by President Jonathan to the private screening of her new movie ‘Being Mrs Elliot’.
Nollywood actresses, Omoni Oboli and Genevieve Nnaji have no doubt paid their dues in the movie industry.
Its no wonder the award-awinning actresses are on the list of top Nollywood actresses.
