Star actor, Femi Adebayo, has denied his involvement in an alleged N8 million scam. On 3 August, he was reported to have collected and diverted the sum from a lady, Lara, who is based abroad for the purpose of making a movie.
He was also rumoured to be having secret love affair with the lady in question, but Femi has denied it all.
“I have never collected any kobo from any woman outside the country to shoot a movie for her. I have been shooting big-budget movies in the past which I sponsored from my personal purse or by my marketers.
“When I was called by a blogger asking me about the story, I told him there is nothing like that. If there is any evidence to prove it, let the person come out to show the world. I saw no evidence of truth in the purported claims. I have been in the industry now for a while, dishing out my things excellently. So I don’t know where the bad people are cooking up their false news from.”
