How to make love… and 24 other things EVERY man should know how to do

A bookmaker firm in the UK named William Hill has just released a list of 50 things every real man should know. They did a survey of 2,000 men before they came up with this result.
The list contains some football stuff like knowing the offside rule and knowing the year England won the World Cup. The rest are mostly common sense stuff like knowing how to change a bulb and how to polish your shoes.

You’d expect a list like this to focus on things that really matter in life and not mundane things like knowing how to set up a shelf or the last three football coaches your country had. But don’t forget the survey was done by a bookmaker firm. So let’s give them some credit for the work.
That done, let’s look at the top 25 things every man should really know how to do.

1. How to motivate
Your sweetheart is feeling a little low about her startup or you’re trying to get your guys at work to accomplish a task. You know you need to know how to motivate.
2. How to listen
You’ll be surprised at how many women in the world complain that their man often isn’t listening when they’re talking to them.
3. How to manage your money
You can’t rely on a woman or your accountant to manage how you spend your money. Be a man.
4. How to bounce back
Every time a real man falls, he bounces back.
5. How to show up on time
Sometimes all you have to do to succeed in life is to know how to show up on time. It doesn’t matter if it’s a date or a business meeting or a friend’s wedding. The same thing applies.
6. How to love a woman
Clearly one of the most important things on this list. A key to success in life is to know how to love a woman and how to make her happy.

15. How to think critically
There’s probably nothing more disappointing than a man who cannot think for himself.
17. How to cook
Apart from the fact that you might starve one day if you can’t whip up a meal, it’s actually an important life skill that a man should ESPECIALLY have. Plus women find it attractive. It’s pretty romantic.
18. How to give back
Be a man. Support good causes. Help others climb up. Give back to your society.
19. How to give a speech
You’re going to let yourself and your loved ones down one day if you don’t know how to give a speech.
20. How to keep a clean apartment
Jesus, it’s a terrible thing to have your partner yell at you often because every time she comes around the place looks like someone just threw a bomb there.
22. How to defuse an argument
It’s embarrassing to see a man and his partner bickering at each other all the time. He’s a man. Doesn’t he know how to defuse an argument?
23. How to deliver
This is vital for building business and climbing the corporate ladder. Know how to deliver what your client wants. Know how to deliver what your boss wants. Deliver, deliver, deliver.
24. How to manage wife-mother relationship
You’re in between two women. Know how to deal with it.
25. How to pay attention
A man who pays attention will often notice when something is off and then he can act accordingly. This ability can save a job, a marriage and even a person’s life.
For the records, there are only 22 things on this list. But it’s okay if you didn’t paying attention to that.
