During the week, Jose Mourinho was cleared of any wrong doing with regard to the incident that occurred on the opening day of the season.
After an apparent ‘investigation’ was conducted by the English Football association, the case of verbal abuse against the Special One was dismissed despite overwhelming video evidence to the contrary.
Now however, even more damning information has come to the fore as Carneiro herself has released a statement explaining how she was never once contacted by the FA for her version of events on the day in question.
Given the fact that she was indeed the apparent victim of the alleged abuse, it seems bizarre to the point of farce that her statement was never taken by the Football Association.
