Well, the story is actually real but it was in a recent flick titled Opeyemi written and produced by Opeyemi John. Opeyemi was a theatre art student at the University and Kemisola (Bidemi Kosoko) was his close pal and a fellow course mate.
On that fateful day, Opeyemi paid a visit to Kemisola at her home for a school rehearsal which she couldn’t meet up due to the contusions she sustained in a fight with her fiancé when they were rehearsing for a movie at the school.
Kemisola tried to seduce Opeyemi whom she admired a lot. In the process of Opeyemi trying to avoid her advances, her parents, Mr and Mrs Johnson (Akin Lewis and Jaiye Kuti) walked in.
He took to his heel and out of fear she claimed Opeyemi wanted to rape her. Opeyemi was arrested and charged to court, after so much findings, just a few hours to the court sitting, Opeyemi was discovered to be Mr johnson’s only son, who got missing from childhood.
Will Mr Johnson allow Opeyemi his only son to face the wrath of the law at the expense of his innocence or order Kemisola to confess openly and be charged of defamation of character? Watch out for the movie!
