World Hepatitis Day: Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi, Kemi Afolabi, Latasha Ngwube & Others walk to Raise Hepatitis Awareness

For World Hepatitis Day yesterday, the SHECA Foundation kicked off its two day awareness campaign in Ife yesterday with an award ceremony. The Ooni’s wife; Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi  flagged off a charity walk to further spread the message and promote good health.

More than a walk, the SHECA foundation took the fight against Hepatitis to a whole new level, encouraging all Nigerians to have a healthy liver. The walk featured appearances by Latasha Ngwube, Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi as well as other Nollywood personalities.

SHECA foundation set up free mobile screening and vaccination centers throughout the state for a period of one week to enable members of the public get free treatments as well as educate them on preventive methods.

The mission of the foundation is a Hepatitis free society where patients who are currently affected get adequate care and are able to live their lives stigma-free to its fullest potential.
