28 Years On, HID Lays Beside Her Husband, Obafemi Awolowo In Ikene

The D-Day is here schools and market in Ogun state are under locks and key as the remains of the late matriarch of Awolowo family, Chief (Mrs) Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo  is finally laid to rest today.
About twenty eight years since Obafemi Awolowo was buried at his Ikenne home, he will now have his wife laid beside him. As many decision makers in the country trooped in to the town to give her a five star burial.
