Lagos Court Jails 6 Traffic Offenders Arrested by Gov Ambode

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State say he is not ready to allow traffic and security officials to be overzealous in the discharge of their duties and treat Lagosians like 'animals'. But everyone is advised to obey the laws, especially traffic law as that's the major cause of traffic chaos on Lagos roads.

If you fail to obey the law... you will be arrested, taken to court and jailed like these ones...
A court has ordered six traffic offenders, a lady and five men, who pleaded guilty to traffic offences after being arrested by Governor Ambode’s convoy to forfeit their vehicles to the State Government.
Aside that, the court also sent four out of the six people to six months in prison, but gave an option of fine of N50,000 each. The remaining two were also sentenced to two months in prison but the court gave one an option of fine of N30,000 and the other N5,000.
